Two large stones with faces 'facing' each other. Information from Festival Park: 'Vega: The idea for this sculpture comes from a smaller piece on wood which dealt with direct conflict between people and was entitled 'Loggerheads'. Working on a much larger scale and in stone means that the material takes on as much importance as the subject matter and influences the way in which the piece is carved. The piece is essentially made up of two large blocks of stone. The faces are stone faces but they come alive when they are placed together.' | ||
