Long low red brick serpent/bird creature with three 'arms' extending out from central point; each with a different carved head (possibly a horse, snake and bird?). Three carved faces around centre of work which also incorporates seating. | ||
The work was commissioned by BBC Wales for 'The Slate' - a documentary called 'The Commission' about the community of a small town in the Welsh Valleys choosing a public sculpture. 'The Grove' was sponsored by Ibstock Brick; Cattybrook Bristol and the Ford Motor Company. | ||
