The work was commissioned by Caerphilly County Borough Council as part of a three year programme, with funding from the Arts Lottery, to improve and refurbish towns in the county. The artists were found and the individual projects managed by Cywaith Cymru. | ||
The mural is a celebration of the multitude of ways in which we communicate. It makes reference to the building's function as a place of learning and invites public interaction by allowing passers by to find messages hidden in the text. | ||
