Large polished stainless steel giant 'ball bearing' incorporating three telescopes with life-size male figure peering in one side. The telescopes are directed at fixed points acros the Bay - the Norwegian Church, Penarth head and Monkstone Lighthouse. The figure is a cast of the artist.
Cardiff Bay Arts Trust was established in 1990 as part of a policy on public art set out by Cardiff Bay Development Corporation. Over the first decade CBAT has worked with public institutions, private corporations and with the local community to enrich the experience for those who visit, live and work in the area. Following the wind up of CBDC, Cardiff Bay Arts Trust became CBAT The Arts & Regeneration Agency and continues to operate UK wide and internationally.
