Mythological figure of Sea (Pacific). Bearded nude male reclining against a whale on waves. Right arm bent, resting on whale head. Left hand on left knee. Right leg extended. Left leg bent. Drapery over left leg. Whale curves behind figure, tail raised at figure's left elbow. Bbg: D. Spurgeon, Discover Sydenham and Catford, 1999, p.61.
