Notes

The relief panel is located above a foliated datestone bearing the date 1875, within a recessed panel on the Dean Street elevation. The relief panel represents Truth as a winged, female figure in wind-blown draperies holding an open book in front of three children. The child who stands on the left appears to be slightly older; she puts her arm around a smaller one standing next to her. A third child, who is naked, reclines on the lower frame of the relief. The smaller standing child and the reclining child both point to the pages of the book held by Truth. There are also four panels of carved brickwork, three with vases of flowers and one with swags of fruit.
