Carruthers says of his work: 'The nine panels make a square, the axis of which coincides with the top left / bottom right diagonal of the wall itself. This creates a curious anti-clockwise tilt in the equilibrium of this square, which is righted by the offsetting of the larger protrusions which line up with the vertical and horizontal axes of the wall. The smaller protrusions move numerically clockwise. (2) | ||
