Standing figure of Britannia with a trident and shield, in a niche at the top of the main gable. There are also two escutcheons, each carved with a lion rampant, below the niche

The architects' plans show that more sculpture was originally intended: cherubs either side of a cartouche, 2nd floor, and seated figures each side of pediment over main entrance
