A modern interpretation of the Glasgow Coat of Arms: a miner holding St Mungo; a bell to the right, a bird to the left. Below the bell is a female figure (an artist) drawing; below the bird is a welder. In the centre is the coat of arms with a fish at each side. Glasgow University, the Finnieston Crane and a ship are also depicted.
Part of the Crown Street Regeneration Project. Andrew Scott was selected by Jackie Forbes, Chief Architect of the developers Miller Homes. This sculpture and the Welder (KI/010) together cost about £2,500 and were made in the Glasgow Sculpture Studios in Maryhill.
