Notes | ||
Two abstract corner features reminiscent of tiaras or crowns; also similar to an architectural cupola (the proximity of the building to the remains of Alexander 'Greek' Thomson's Caledonia Road Church was an important factor in the artists' thinking). The sculptors have also produced 78 small steel fish, bird and bell finials for the balconies of the flats and number plates for the apartment entrances in the form of miniature versions of the corner features seen from above.
