Unless this is another bust it is probable that this was the gift of Sir Thomas Bazley who gave four busts - Gladstone, Bright, Cobden and Villiers - in May/June 1881. He asked for them to be placed on either side of the bust of Sir John Potter in the staircase of the Reference Library in King Street.
