The original plans of the building by George Vigers and T.R. Wagstaffe show a cherub on the rooftop. This design was never executed and it wasn't until the building was restored for the London Docklands Development Corporation by the Conservation Practice in 1994-95 that the plans came to light. Philip Jackson was commissioned to create the cherub at a cost of £4,900. | ||
